The 4Runner TRD Sport offers dynamic upgrades that help it perform well on the roads, including the Cross-Linked Relative Absorber System (X-REAS). This suspension system, exclusive to the TRD Sport and Limited trims, enhances damping when coasting along bumpy roads and turning sharp corners. The X-REAS system uses a central absorber to link shocks on opposite vehicle sides in an “X” pattern to help maintain precise control and handling. The result of the X-REAS system is an adaptable, precise drive that keeps the ride nice and east, even when the roads get rocky or twisty.
